And...we're done. ....almost.

As you can see from the picture posted below (provided the html works...) our game board is just about complete. I haven't exactly merged everything yet, because I still need to discuss where to put the icons that indicate card choices, but the final product should look very similar to this one. As you can also see, the game board went from something that had a start and finish to something that...doesn't end! (dun dun dun!!) Thanks to Jared's reminder that our game ends when a player achieves a certain amount of money, now players can enjoy HOURS of fun if it really takes that long. YAY!

Anywho, after taking forever in choosing color schemes, I finally decided on a select few that includes black, orange, green, blue, silver, yellow and white. Indeed, there are too many colors in the rainbow to choose from, so in the end, I narrowed it down to only seven.
In addition, we finally have a name for our game. It is now called "Discovered!" because well.. since it has a lot to do with multimedia pop culture stuff and the entertainment industry, we figured we should name it something that many aspiring artists would want to have happen to them. (Originally, we were also thinking of "Make it Big" because artists want to "make it BIG" in the industry- but then out of context, as a friend unmercifully pointed out, the title could be misleading and mean MANY other different THINGS.....o_O) SO.... "Discovered" it became! Let's see how one can misconstrue that!

And...without further ado, I present to you.... *drum roll pleeease!*

So? Whaddya think?
The finishing touches will basically involve adding on some little icons to a select random few spaces on the film reel to indicate which spaces allow players to pick cards, as well as the actual contents of the cards. This step should be relatively easy... can't wait to see what we think up!
